Once upon a time .....

I was walking in the street, almost 10 years ago, when a sweety sable puppy caught my attention and my heart. I didn't know who he was, didn't know his breed, I just heard my heart telling me "You are falling in love!". This Amstaff puppy was the sign I needed to identify "my Breed".  A red male joined us few months later, coming from a "Pet shop".  As a newbie, I didn't know that Pet shops were the worst places to buy a puppy. My second dog was a female bought in a french kennel, out of French and Italian lines. I started to show her and she got some good results in Europe. During those years I learned about the breed from old books, old breeders ... All I can say is " Thanks to the World Wide Web!". After trial, error and research I understood that my first dogs were cute and sweet but not perfect stud dogs. Both were spayed and went to live with close friends of mine. They're not in my house anymore but they're still in my heart.

I waited a long time before breeding my first litter. I wanted to know the breed better before starting my breeding plan. Some dogs joined my family, like my fantastic and lovely AKC Ch.Royal Court's Gyspy Rose. She was an incredible female, with a perfect temperement. She also was the first female I bred. From the first Ady's Child ASK litter, I kept a male, Ice, co-owned with my friends in Switzerland, and a female , April, who's living with me.
During my learning years, I got a feeling about what type of breeder I wanted to be. I don't want to be the biggest, not the most famous breeder. My values are respect and honesty, and I work with and continue to learn every day from other people. I don't want to have many dogs living lifelong in kennel all their life. My dogs must be part of my family, spending as much time as possible with me and my husband. We own a restaurant and as such, we are our own bosses we can arrange our time as we see fits.. Our restaurant is open only in the evening, so we can spend the day with our dogs and our horse Quorus.

Five years ago we decided to move in the middle France. We were living in The French Riviera, close to our family and friends, but our dogs needed larger fields, bigger yards and woods to run accross. We left the South of France and bought a little house in a tiny village close to a beechwood.
Our dogs now have 5000 m² of yards surrounded by fields and cows. When we're at work, they stay in large size kennels with roofs and wooden doghouses. We are also setting up a discovery park for our puppies (120m²). Our next litter will certainly enjoy it.

To close this story I want to thank everyone who trust me and helped me to start my passion, the list is too long to name all of them but I'm sure they'll recognise themselves. My family, my husband, my friends, the happy owner of my puppies, and all breeders who gave me confidence, friendship and advice.
Thanks to all !!! Enjoy our website.
